Colin Kahl is the inaugural Steven C. Házy Senior Fellow at Stanford University’s Center for International Security and Cooperation and a strategic consultant to the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. He served as national security adviser to Vice President Joe Biden and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East in the Obama administration.
