Are You Living a Good Life?

In a recent Allstate-National Journal poll, we asked a random sample of 1,000 Americans if they felt they were living “a good life”. Astonishingly, 87.4 percent said they were. Taking to the streets of New York City to ask again, we found one possible explanation: People just find it harder to say “no” than to come up with reasons—from sunshine and ice cream to family and friends—to say “yes".
