Before they compete in Rio, the soccer players on the U.S. Paralympic team attend a series of grueling training camps. The short film 2-3-1 goes inside this preparation and features the perspectives of the team members themselves. “Our hope is that this film will empower those dealing with psychological trauma and physical disabilities and ultimately shine a light on the beauty of the human spirit,” said Jefferis Gray, the film’s writer and producer. 2-3-1 was directed by John Merizalde and produced by Whitelist.
