Manny Avalos is a self-proclaimed Renaissance man with a wide variety of skills and interests. After repairing a broken guitar for a friend, he was intrigued by the craftsmanship and detail that went into making one. Now, at 89 years old, Avalos works out of his shed everyday, crafting custom guitars from scratch. "It becomes boring, when suddenly everything is finished," he says in this charming short documentary by Upland Film Co. "There’s a great joy in knowing that perhaps you have enough time to get to these things, to learn them."
