In the short film Heartbeats of Fiji by the filmmaker Jon Kasbe, two men connect at the Beat Making Lab to learn about hip hop and techno music production. They form an instant bond in the process of creating music that represents their culture and community.
Kasbe is currently directing a feature film called When Lambs Become Lions, about two men on either side of animal extinction—a protector and a poacher. More of his work can be found on his website.
