In this short film, Brian Hendricks has just learned that he has terminal cancer. "There is separation, the things we know and love," he says. "There is obviously a death, but even if there is nothing after this, it doesn't matter." This is the first part in the documentary series The Beauty of Certainty, which focuses on Hendricks's musings about life in the face of his death. The series is an intimate exploration of what it means to wrestle with your own mortality, and you can watch the rest of the chapters here.
