In this short film, we follow a traveler along his winding journey through chaotic Shanghai. Using reversed footage, JT Singh makes his way through the city streets as everyone else seems to be walking backwards—the result is a magical and slightly hallucinatory impression of what it feels like to walk around China's most massive city. The film was created by Singh himself, who is a media artist and economic strategist focused on city-regions. You can see more of his work at the Shanghai-based JT Singh Labs on his website.
