The Joys of Roller Skating in San Francisco
Jun 12, 2015

Their skating is often costumed and choreographed, and it mostly acts as a kind of meditation. "I smoke a joint and I spin around 50 times," says one participant in this short film by Daniel Soares. "You don't see a place where you get people of all ages all colors all races and all walks of life coming together to have one kind of fun," adds another.
