Sep 04, 2015 | 831 videos
Video by Joe Marcantonio

Flat-track racing usually happens on a small, circular track, and its devotees are almost obsessively dedicated. The filmmaker Joe Marcantonio went inside one of these communities to create Flattrack, a short film about its appeal. "It's like a sort of primeval joy," one of the participants says. "When you race, you're just somewhere else."
