'How Do You Function Without a Cellphone?'

This short documentary considers the role of technology in the lives of two people: Matthew, a San Francisco designer who has never owned a cellphone, and Tess, a teenager who couldn't imagine a day without hers. Filmmaker Ivan Cash has a great compassion for his subjects, as we've highlighted before, and this short is no exception. "I would recommend that everyone, regardless of their age, goes out in nature for extended periods not connected to anything," Matthew says. "That's a huge shift for people."
