Short Film Skewers Hollywood, Probably Predicts Disney's Next Hit

A studio executive (played by Parks and Recreation actor Jim O'Heir) concocts his next animated blockbuster—a franchise about anthropomorphized boats, a la Cars and Planes—until an idealistic young staffer challenges his greediness. Director Justin Dec certainly exaggerates the truth in this cutting satire, but let's not forget that this happened.

For more of the Boats parody, be sure to listen to this terribly catchy theme song, "Sail On." (Here's a taste: "Raise your sails, / aim for the stars. / Buzz the planes, / pass the cars. / 'Cause I'm a boat.")
