The Australian remix artist Pogo uses Tarantino's R-rated language as source audio to create a catchy song.
OK, before we go on, if there are any children present, they may need to cover their ears, because this new remix from movie mashup king Pogo has a little bit (read “s**t loads”) of strong language in it. That might raise a couple of questions, considering that Pogo has typically remixed kid-friendly fare like Monsters Inc, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and A.I., not to mention his delightful undertaking of remixing the world. Well, not if
Using the same style he’s honed in his many movie cut ups, “Lead Breakfast (‘Pulp Fiction’ Remix)” takes samples from what must be one of the most quotable films of all time and turns them it into a Big Kahuna melody. With cheese. M’mmm you’ll find yourself thinking, this is a tasty remix. Feel free to add your own Pulp Fiction puns below.
And if you were ever wondering how Pogo creates these mashups that turn into viral gold, then you can find out in the how-to video he released last month called Movie Mashups: Sampling On A Mac (below), so now anybody can learn his masterful ways. As well as unveiling his methods and giving some tips, it also looks like he’s been working on a Spirited Away mix which begs the question: When’s it being released?
