Three Little Kittens, an educational film for kids, follows three newborn kittens through life on a farm. Courtesy of the Prelinger Archive, the film crafts little stories from spontaneous moments between the siblings. The ending is bittersweet, however, when they grow old enough to face the harsh reality of depression-era unemployment; two have to be sold to new owners because there "isn't enough work" on the farm for all three.
