Ingenuity in Action, a 1959 documentary from Hot Rod Magazine, follows a team of hot rod enthusiasts across the country to compete in the national championship in Detroit. This excerpt covers the final race, but the 30-minute documentary is full of great footage of the highways, cars, and landscapes of the era.
