Yesterday is a color-saturated stop-motion animation shot entirely with the iPhone app Hipstamatic, its built-in filters adding instant nostalgia to everyday scenes. Vitùc, a self-described nonprofessional filmmaker and artist based in Luxembourg, shot over 3,000 images in a day to create the video. He describes the iPhone as a "little thing with which you can almost do everything ... even going back in time," referencing the vintage look of Hipstamatic images. The music is by Reid Willis.
