Girl Walk // All Daya 70-minute music video set to the entire Girl Talk mashup album All Day, is a love letter to dance, remix culture, and New York City. Chapter one begins with a girl, played by Anne Marsen, breaking out of the mold of a traditional ballet class to dance her way to New York where adventures ensue.

The narrative is a bit autobiographical for Marsen, who studied dance seriously but eventually left to pursue her own free-wheeling style that blends everything from hip hop to jazz to Bollywood moves. Jacob Krupnick, the director of the film, explained in an interview with the New York Times, “There’s something so dynamic and confident and fluid about her movement. It has nothing in common with the pleasure of watching an amazing ballet dancer. It’s more like watching a chameleon on fast forward. She’s playing with her body movement the way a rapper might play with words.”
