NASA attached four cameras to the outside of the Shuttle, which ran as it launched and headed into low-earth orbit. They released the video from the four cameras as one long clip, showing each view in sequence. Here, our new video editor, Kasia Cieplak-Mayr von Baldegg synchronized the clips, so you can watch all four feeds at once. (She also sped them up a bit.) We have to enjoy images like this while we can; with the end of the Shuttle program nigh, this is the last American spacecraft launch due for several years. The music's by AKA Media System.
