As if the iPhone 6, Plus and Apple Watch did not drum up enough new product excitement for Apple enthusiasts, we might also be getting the next generation iPad this fall.
Sources tell The Daily Dot that on October 21st, Apple will launch two new versions of the iPad, iPad 6 and iPad Mini 3, along with the newest Mac operating system, OS X Yosemite.
This would be in line with Apple's other iPad launches. Last October 22nd, they launched the iPad Air and iPad Mini 2. The first iPad, however, had a spring launch date.
This is a particularly important launch for the iPad Mini, which is within about two inches of the iPhone 6 Plus size. The new Plus is 5.5 inches with 920-by-1080 resolution and the current iPad Mini is 7.9 inches with 1024-by-768 resolution.
If this rumor proves to be true, the devices will be out just two days after the iPhone 6 and Plus reach users hands.
