After months of rumors (some more accurate than others), Apple has finally sent out invitations to their next big launch party. Press invites went out on Thursday for an event on September 9 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. While the teasing invite doesn't specify why everyone should come running to the San Francisco Bay Area in two weeks, all signs point to the official announcement of the next iPhone (or iPhones.)

The September 9 date has been speculated about for some time, as it falls in line with previous iPhone release schedules. What we don't know for certain, is if there will in fact be two new iPhones — one with a 4.7-inch screen and one that's 5.5-inches are likely — or if we finally see the long-awaited iWatch, as was reported this week. Apple, of course, isn't talking. So we'll see you back here on the 9th.
