Samsung is using the Tab S as the platform for some impressive new collaborations. Samsung brought Tom Wallace, editorial director of Conde Nast, and Adam Sutherland, senior vice president of global strategy and business development at National Geographic, onto the stage. Both magazines will be available through Papergarden.

My favorite partnership is with Marvel. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Samsung products will appear, and Samsung users will have exclusive access to content for Ultron. Marvel will also offer a free three-month subscription to Galaxy Tab S users through the Galaxy Gifts widget.

For business lovers, Galaxy Tab S will offer a free six months of The Economist.

By partnering with Google Play directly, Samsung is bringing Tab S users a lot of free stuff—Conde Nast magazines, movies, and streaming music. That's right: streaming, ad-free music. Milk Music, powered by Slacker, will be incorporated into all Tab S devices.
