Apple has acknowledged that its iPhone 4S has some battery issues and says it is coming up with some fixes. "We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks," the company wrote in a statement to AllThingsD's Ina Fried. It looks like Apple's already done a little legwork, releasing a beta version of the iOS update, which includes a fix for bugs affecting battery life, reports MacRumors. In the weeks following the phone's release, users flocked to Apple forums complaining of battery drain on brand new phones that should have 200 hours of standby time. While some theorized problems and cooked up fixes, no one knew exactly what was causing the issues. Once the problem spread far enough, Apple decided to reached out to specific customers, reported The Guardian.
