Seven Ways to Draw the Internet

A contest challenges artists to capture the web in a single image

A UK-based digital agency Saint partnered with ArtWeLove, Deviant Art, the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, and the NYC Department of Education to bring a contest called "Can You Draw the Internet?" to Internet Week in New York. The instructions for the contest, intended to support arts education in New York City, were only to "capture the spirit of the Internet's billions of pages in a single image," and participants included students, creatives, and established artists. Here are the entires that struck us as the most creative so far:
