Deep inside NASA's Glenn Research Center's Space Power Facility at Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, Ohio -- also known as home to the theme park with more roller coasters than any other, Cedar Point -- the world's largest vacuum chamber measures 122 feet tall and 100 feet in diameter. "The chamber's immense size and ability to simulate the vacuum of space make it ideal for testing of the Orion crew exploration vehicle and other space flight vehicles," according to NASA. "Pictured here are the doors of the test chamber, which are 50 X 50 feet and have double seals to sustain the vacuum environment."
