Plastic Surgeon: Get a Dog, Not a Facelift
Perhaps endangering his own livelihood, plastic surgeon Robert Tornambe has declared that it's better to get a dog than a facelift. Writing at The Huffington Post, Tornambe says that although "a facelift can be a wonderful and satisfying experience," getting a dog can be so much better--and offers ten logical reasons to prove it.
For one thing, dogs are way cheaper--on average, a facelift costs $11,000. On top of that, a dog lasts longer--facelifts hold up only five to ten years. Perhaps even more important, dogs are better for your health, as studies have shown that owning a furry friend can lower blood pressure, stress, and cholesterol.
