You didn't ask for it, but here's another 2016 campaign song.

Last week Rick Perry debuted a country rap tune that embodies his own lovable crassness as a politician. Now comes a new (unofficial) campaign ditty for former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley that embodies O'Malley's undying earnestness.

The song was penned by the Corrigan Brothers, an Irish band with a penchant for American politics. It has virtually the exact melody and structure as their 2008 song, "There's No One As Irish As Barack Obama." The new version even duplicates its rhyme of "Connemara" with "Obama." To be fair to the Brothers Corrigan, though, the early musical works of Hillary Clinton's fans this cycle have not been terribly impressive, either.

Take a listen:

Let's further review the absolute minimal effort put into writing this song:

Refrain:

Tiraloo! Tiraloo! It's time to party

He's gonna be president / Martin O'Malley

Verse 1:

Now Irish America has a new man / New leadership, that is his plan

So let's get behind him / And support his team

His vision is in you / American dream

Refrain:

Tiraloo! Tiraloo! It's time to party

He's gonna be president / Martin O'Malley

Verse 2:

From the west of Ireland near Connemara / This Galway man will follow Obama

Maryland's finest / He has the nous

To go all the way / To the White House

Refrain:

Tiraloo! Tiraloo! Let's go on the trip

With Martin O'Malley in his new leader-ship!

Verse 3:

He's got it all / A great politician

A man of the people / Fantastic musician!

Three cheers for Martin / And all of his team

New leadership / New American dream

Refrain (x3):

Tiraloo! Tiraloo! It's time to party

He's gonna be president / Martin O'Malley

Tiraloo! Tiraloo! Let's go on the trip

With Martin O'Malley in his new leader-ship!
