'No Labels' Vows Full Disclosure of Donors

Two new leaders of the citizens action group "No Labels" pledged Monday to disclose the source of its $2 million budget.

"Transparency is important," said former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, a failed 2012 GOP presidential candidate.

No Labels, a two-year-old grassroots advocacy group urging "problem-solving" reforms in Congress, is not required to publicly release the names of its contributors.

At a news conference, Huntsman and fellow No Labels leader Sen. Joe Manchin, a Democrat from West Virgina, were asked if they would promise to make the source of donations public. They said yes. "We're not getting paid," Manchin quipped. Huntsman suggested that the group's budget is about $2 million.
