As expected, the House of Representatives voted today to repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act, and the final tally came in at 244-185 in favor of kicking the bill to the curb. This is in fact, (as Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's office angrily pointed out on Twitter) the 31st time the House has voted to repeal the bill. Next up for the repeal bill: as with those last 30 times, not a lot. Neither the Senate nor the White House is interested in helping this bill become a law so we're left humming that depressing Schoolhouse Rock song about the difficulties a bill faces becoming a law. (And that song didn't even get into repeated symbolic bills —that would have taken several more verses.)
