Supreme Court Will Not Rule on Obamacare Today
Hold your horses, people: The Supreme Court will not hand down a decision on the constitutionality of Obamacare today, contrary to speculation earlier this morning.
Hold your horses, people: The Supreme Court will not hand down a decision on the constitutionality of Obamacare today, contrary to speculation earlier this morning. NBC's Pete Williams and CBS News' Sarah Boxer report that the court has made no action on health care reform or immigration today and won't until later this week or next week. The next scheduled decision days are Thursday and Monday, when the court could deliver the landmark decision. (Politico's Ben White says the smart money is on June 25 or June 28). The anticipation seems to have crashed the respected SCOTUS Blog but, for now, sighs of relief can be heard across the Washington Twitterverse from journalists given a short reprieve from covering the decision:

Was nerve racking being in pub affairs room at SCOTUS, staring at 3 boxes knowing any one theoretically could contain ACA— Philip Klein (@philipaklein) June 18, 2012
