Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-N.Y., is getting an assist from former, current, and possibly future mayors of New York City as his primary campaign enters its final month.

Former Democratic mayors Ed Koch and David Dinkins, and current independent Mayor Michael Bloomberg, are listed among the guests for a birthday fundraiser in two weeks, and Koch and Bloomberg formally endorsed Rangel on Wednesday morning. City Council Speaker Christine Quinn and two other prospective 2013 mayoral candidates were also listed on Rangel's fundraiser invitation; Quinn, the early front-runner, told Capital New York that she is supporting Rangel in his primary.

Former Republican Mayor Rudy Giuliani was the only living New York City mayor not included on the invitation; Giuliani is not exactly the endorser Rangel is looking for these days as he tries to consolidate support before a June 26 Democratic primary.
