Video of the Day: Will the Real Mitt Romney Please Stand Up?

The GOP front-runner meets Eminem, and hilarity ensues.

Yesterday, we explained how not to make a political rap video. Today, we give you an exemplar of how to do it right. Hugh Atkin apparently spent a lot of time digging through video archives to put together this video, which combines a song by son of Detroit Eminem with clips of another son of Detroit, Mitt Romney. Set to the tune of the 2000 hit "The Real Slim Shady," the video features guest spots from Newt Gingrich and Barack Obama and is a clever play on the question, frequently voiced during the presidential campaign, of who the GOP front-runner is and what he really believes. Atkin posted the full lyrics but here's a taste:

Understand I'm an exception. The Obama contraception.
Not a vulture, I'm an eagle.
Look I'm gonna get my lawn cut by illegals.
There will be an influx. Hispanic voters in trucks.
Look, if you don't believe, I'll tell you what, ten thousand bucks?
Well, I made a lot of money matter of factually.
I drive a couple of Cadillacs actually.

The whole video is spliced together using real footage of debates, TV interviews, and speeches. It's remarkable how closely Atkin managed to replicate the original song in places, especially at the start.
