If they ever make a movie out of Newt Gingrich's life (we'll leave you to speculate on how likely that is), the Republican presidential candidate wants Brad Pitt to play him, TMZ reports.

If they ever make a movie out of Newt Gingrich's life (we'll leave you to speculate on how likely that is), the Republican presidential candidate wants Brad Pitt to play him, TMZ reports.

And why not? Pitt's played some out-there roles, such as Death in Meet Joe Black and an old man in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Gingrich knows he doesn't bear much of a resemblance to People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, 2000, but when he called into the Rich Stevens Radio Show Wednesday, he said he might as well dream big. According to Politico, he said, "Look if you’re gonna go for it … You gotta relax and just, you know, let your imagination soar."

Words to live by. And Gingrich apparently does, judging by the fact that he's charging ahead with his presidential bid after losing Florida.
