Mitt Romney's $14 million fundraising total, according to Politico's Mike Allen, means that Rick Perry's $17 million haul will win the third quarter campaign finance sweepstakes. National Journal's Sarah Huisenga writes that Michele Bachmann, who was not expected to impress, decided to sidestep the whole money comparison by not releasing a fundraising total at all and instead point to the number of individuals who donated to her campaign: 92,000.
