Only 43 percent of Americans know that John Boehner is Speaker of the House. As John Dickerson points out, more people (55 percent) know that Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook.

From the most recent Pew Research Center for the People and the Press News Quiz, based on 1,004 respondents 18 and older interviewed by phone Marth 17-20:

And only about four-in-ten (43%) are able to correctly identify John Boehner as House speaker; 19% say incorrectly that Nancy Pelosi is still speaker of the House. In November, shortly after the GOP won the House, 38% named Boehner as the presumptive speaker and 13% named Pelosi.
