Illinois Representative Danny Davis is not happy about Bill Clinton's agreement to campaign for Rahm Emanuel in the Chicago mayoral race. Fox News reports that yesterday Davis urged the former president to "stay out of Chicago's mayoral race if he wants to maintain his warm relationship with blacks." Later that day, Davis, also a mayoral candidate, clarified that his comments about Clinton really had nothing to do with race, arguing that he'd object even if Clinton were coming to stump for his black opponent Carol Mosely Braun. He admits that he, himself, would welcome Clinton's support.
