Draft Jeb?

Establishment Republicans being desperate to stop Sarah Palin might up Jeb Bush's shot at a 2012 nomination

A while back, I wrote a column proposing that Jeb Bush as the Republican nominee in 2012 was not nearly as outlandish as most people think. I got the idea from Grover Norquist, who was quite keen on it, and whose arguments brought me from the "outlandish" category to the "huh, maybe that could happen" category, where I remain. Keying off today's Politico story about how establishment Republicans are desperate to stop Sarah Palin at any cost, David Frum suggests that this impulse might be the beginning of a "Draft Jeb" movement. I could see that, too.
