The political world was caught off-guard Tuesday by Richard Daley's announcement that he would not seek a fourth term as Chicago mayor. If Daley's out, who's in? On Twitter, users weighed in on a potential Emanuel candidacy, and even suggested a few alternatives:

oprah's retiring after this season, right? could she run. it would make a crowded field with her, rahm, burris. blago, ditka and alan keyes
How many more Daleys are there in the pipeline? I assume these guys are procreating...
Alan Keyes for Mayor of Chicago. In your heart, you know he has a birth certificate.
I'm for Ozzie Guillen as mayor of Chicago.
Harold Ford moving to Chicago.

run blago run
