With GOP lawmakers continuing to veto the extension of unemployment benefits on the eve of July 4th weekend, Olbermann lashed out at Republicans in his "Special Comment," declaring that GOP legislators are "political prostitutes" to corporations. "To you, it's unemployment," seethed Olbermann. "to corporations, it's cheap freelancers and temps. 'Better cost containment,' as one analyst put it."
