Morning Vid: Jon Stewart Defends Obama for 'Snubbing' Boy Scouts
Also, The View is a show about the "misadventures of the world's unluckiest couch"
On his Thursday show, The Daily Show's Jon Stewart snipes at the "very serious" media for criticizing Obama for going on the View (a show about "the misadventures of the world's unluckiest couch") instead of honoring the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts. While the host notes, as he often does, that either decision made by the president would have been disparaged by the media, particularly conservatives, he saves his most humorous barb for a particular talking head: Whoopi Goldberg. "Is she angling for a Supreme court nomination?" he asks quizzically in reference to her flowing robe.
