A few weeks ago, Alabama businessman and GOP congressional candidate Rick Barber made his YouTube debut with the campaign-ad-turned-historical-drama "Gather Your Armies." With the endorsements of George Washington and Benjamin Franklin secured, Barber turns to the Great Emancipator for a seal of approval

RICK BARBER: Hey Abe, if someone's forced to work for months to pay taxes so a total stranger can get a free meal, medical procedure, or a bailout, what's that called?

FAUX ABRAHAM LINCOLN: ...

BARBER: What's it called when one man is forced to work for another?

FAUX LINCOLN: SLAVERY.
