BP President and Chairman Lamar McKay will testify today before the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, and senators will be grilling him on his company's massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Also appearing with McKay will be Steven Newman, president and CEO of Transocean, which calls itself the world's largest offshore drilling contractor; and Tim Probert, president of Halliburton's Global Business Lines and also the company's chief health, safety and environment officer.

Those execs will testify in the second panel; right now, the committee is questioning two offshore drilling experts.
