With financial reform pressing forward in the Senate, it looks like immigration won't be the next major bill Democrats pass and President Obama signs. But even though Obama has yet to jump into the immigration fray, he's being dragged in anyway by conservative gubernatorial candidate Steve Poizner, who has made immigration a big part of his platform against former eBay CEO Meg Whitman in the GOP primary.

Poizner will start airing the following ad statewide this weekend, attacking Whitman and Obama for supporting a pathway to citizenship:
