DCCC: Fact-Check Fox

Fox was found today by Public Policy Polling to be the most trusted television news network--way ahead of the competition--but no one trusts Fox less than Democratic political operatives. In fact, it's hard to imagine anyone trusting anything less than they trust Fox. So, in keeping with that mistrust, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is asking its supporters to fact-check the network tonight after the State of the Union, watching for lies and stretches by Fox analysts breaking down President Obama's speech.

"If you see Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity or any other right-wing pundit or Member of Congress twisting the truth, we need you to send it along so we can set them straight," the DCCC writes on its sign-up Web page; supporters will get info via text message on how to alert the DCCC to alleged Fox untruths--not that Democratic rapid-responders in Washington won't be watching, too.
