Progressives Get Sanders' Back

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate, has placed a hold on the nomination of Ben Bernanke's nomination to a second four-year term as Fed chairman--a move that's proven moderately controversial but isn't expected to ultimately keep Bernanke from being confirmed--and progressives like it: liberals have raised $13,000 for Sanders since news of the hold via ActBlue, using a donations-funneling web page called "Get Bernie's Back," set up by the Progressive Campaign Change Committee.
