The 2010 midterms are just around the corner (sort of). Here's what's happening:

Rep. Bart Gordon (D-TN) will retire; Gordon trailed his GOP challenger in polls before making the announcement; California gubernatorial candidate Steve Poizner (R) will donate $15 million to his campaign; Republican Tom Campbell insists he's running for governor of California, too, despite buzz that he might switch to California's Senate race; former Rep. Bill Sali (R-ID) might challenge freshman Rep. Walter Minnick (D), who defeated Sali in '08, for his old seat; and another Republican--retired architect Mark Rees--will challenge Rep. Leonard Boswell (D-IA).
