The Myth of the Boy Crisis

The Washington Post writes up some new research indicating that the much-fretted-over "boy crisis" in education doesn't actually exist -- "both sexes have stayed the same or improved on standardized tests in the past decade" and family socioeconomic factors are a much larger demographic determinant of outcomes than is gender.
