A Disturbing Development
I spent this morning at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace attending a conference on the future of American foreign policy co-sponsored by CEIP and the New America Foundation. It was, in short, a serious gathering of serious people. Until, that is, one panelist said that one good way to think about the Euro-American divide was to consider the rise of "transnational progressivism," a term he first heard "on the Internet," in recent years.
