A wild elephant wandered into the streets and alleys of Siliguri, India, on February 10, leaving behind a trail of startled residents, damaged structures, trampled cars, and smashed motorbikes. The panicked adult male elephant was soon cornered by wildlife officials, shot with a tranquilizer dart, then transported back to the nearby Baikunthapur Forest. No injuries were reported.
