While trying to come up with a photo essay for today, I came across this simple image of a cat sitting contentedly in a crib meant for baby Jesus, in a nativity scene in Poland. There is no explanation given in the caption by photographer Kacper Pempel, merely “A cat sits in the nativity scene outside a church in Warsaw. Poland, on December 26, 2012.” And so, on this Christmas Eve Eve, my present to you is simply Nativity Cat.
