One interesting development on climate is that Obama has stopped using that term and has recast the issue (wisely, in my view) as one of innovation, competitiveness, etc. But he hasn't given up the issue. Instead, his call for Clean Energy Standards just widens the definition of "clean energy" to include nukes, natural gas, CCS, etc. That's probably the only way he'll get Republican buy in, and even then he might not. So I guess "climate" has now been relegated to the same secret bunker as "stimulus."
