I'm opening up the blog on Christmas day to my long-time regulars.  I'm soliciting guest posts from commenters who have been with us for a while, especially those who started on the old blog.  I'm thinking specifically of Rob Lyman, the Commenter Currently Known As Mouse For All Seasons, Yancey Ward, Dave Walser, Zic . . . but there are others who are slipping my mind at the moment; Blighter has kindly agreed to lead off the parade.  I'll take the submissions by email tomorrow, and schedule them to run on Christmas, for those who have a few moments between stuffing themselves and reveling in their loot.

If you're interested, just shoot me an email with your submission.  Requirements are only that it somehow involve holiday wishes for the blog community; it can be as long or as short as you like, though I ask you to keep links minimal, as it makes it more of a pain to copy it into our slightly finicky system.  Emails should be directed to meganmcardle at theatlantic dot com.
